Ryan Chandler

Growing up in the picturesque state of Maine, Ryan's adventurous spirit found an outlet in various sports from a young age. He dabbled in soccer, basketball, and baseball, but it was gymnastics that captured his heart and kindled an enduring flame for athleticism.

From early childhood through college, Ryan dedicated himself to the demanding world of competitive gymnastics. His journey in the sport not only sculpted his physical abilities but also cultivated an unyielding discipline and resilience that have stayed with him throughout life. The experiences of pushing boundaries and surpassing limitations on the gymnastic mat would later prove invaluable in his holistic approach to coaching and guiding others.

Ryan's natural curiosity about the human mind and behavior led him to pursue a career in psychology. Armed with knowledge and insights into the complexities of the human psyche, Ryan found a seamless connection between his background as a psychologist and his passion for coaching. He believes that a healthy individual is one who finds equilibrium in their mental, emotional, and physical well-being. This unique perspective adds depth and purpose to his coaching style, fostering an environment that encourages personal growth and self-discovery.

In 2013, Ryan encountered the CrossFit methodology, a fitness regime that resonated deeply with his philosophy of holistic health. Embracing its diverse and challenging workouts, Ryan became a devoted follower of CrossFit and saw its transformative power firsthand. To further his commitment to this approach, he obtained his CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certification, enabling him to share his passion for fitness and well-being with others.

When Ryan isn't guiding and inspiring clients at Reebok LAB, you can find him immersing himself in the beauty of nature. You will often find Ryan playing beach volleyball, exploring hiking trails, gliding down the slopes on skis, or embarking on new adventures while traveling. These experiences outside the gym not only keep him physically active but also fuel his appreciation for the vastness of the human experience.
