Evan Barr
Evan has been into fitness for as long as he can remember. He grew up playing soccer, pole vaulted through high school and college, and started Olympic lifting when he was 14 years old. After college, he turned to functional fitness in 2016 and immediately got hooked on the intensity and variety. It’s been his go-to ever since.
As a coach, he is all about helping people feel confident in the gym, especially those who might be intimidated to start. Evan loves working with folks who are brand new to fitness, recovering from injury, or navigating movement post-surgery, especially elderly athletes or those with knee and hip replacements. His coaching style is empathetic, safety-focused, and always built around finding the fun in every workout.
Athletes say they come for the fitness but stay for the jokes and his daily “question of the day.” Evan genuinely believes that everyone is an athlete, no matter your strength, speed, or experience. It’s a mindset.
When he’s not coaching, Evan is either hunting down the best breakfast spots in town, at a concert (big fan of Incubus and Sleep Token), or is helping his other clients in the courtroom. Yes, he is also a lawyer.
