Phillip Itwaru

Phillip Itwaru has been immersed in the CrossFit world for over a decade and brings both experience and intensity to everything he does. He began his CrossFit journey in New York in 2011, shortly after graduating college.

Driven by that passion, Phillip became a coach in 2012, dedicating himself to helping athletes of all abilities reach their highest potential. Working with beginners taking their first steps into fitness to seasoned competitors striving for peak performance, he continued to sharpen his own competitive edge. 

By 2014, Phillip took a major step forward and opened his own gym where he served as both head coach and owner. His leadership and dedication led to rapid growth and success, and in 2015, he expanded by opening a second location.

After a 15-year run building a strong CrossFit presence in Westchester, New York, Phillip made the bold decision to sell his businesses and start a new chapter. He headed west to explore new opportunities, bring his experience to a new community, and continue doing what he loves at the highest level.
